Not to long ago I noticed that when in park at idle the tach is jittery, bouncing around, not much, just a little, like my truck drank to much coffee . But in drive at idle with my foot on the brake it is rock steady, could this indicate a problem? or is it just nature of the beast.
There was a thread on this in the last few weeks. The concensus is that lots of people (me included) are seeing the "jittery tach" syndrome - must be pretty normal. It looks like some electrical noise is feeding into the tach signal.
Mine jitters around a small amount must of the time. Also on my 2001. 5 the are three small marks between 1500 and 2000 and 2500 and so on. 1500 , 1625, 1750, 1875, 2000 . What's the deal, Dodge can't count??????? Snow King
