JL Audio stealthbox

Dose anyone on here have the JL stealthbox that goes in between the front seats and if so what do ya think about it? Also how well dose it match your interior?

I bought a custom box off ebay, I can't find the link right now, that matched my interior perfectly, was very well made and the sound quality is awesome. There was a 10'' or 12'' option, I chose the 10'' with a JL 10w3. I believe I paid around $300.



I've always made my own sub enclosures but lack of time, tons of positive feedback on this box and price I couldn't pass it up. Enclosures aren't that hard to make so it'd be really hard for me to spend over $600 for the Stealthbox which only houses a single sub.

I got a stealth box, I used the factory cloth of the middle seat. :-laf The bad part is there is not much padding no one wants to ride in the middle#@$%!.

Sorry I don't have more infor for the a third gen. I installed the JL Stealth center seat sub in my '98. In that install you reuse the existing seat fabric so the match was perfect. The sound? Well a JL 10" is outstanding and the only thing you sacrifice is the center seat. That particular sub enclosure will only support 45lb, even though it looks like a seat.



I'm mentally planning my current stereo upgrade after installing my AVIC Z-2. Right now I htink I'll be going with the JL again center sub again.

I know with the 05' you will loose the center seat all together. The enclosure is too tall because they use a 13. 5" sub. But you do get to keep your storage space in the armrest. I know the sound quality form JL is amazing I'm more concerned with the look. For the kind of $$$ they want for one of those things it needs to be PERFECT.

I have the ebay box with a 10 in it and its a good solid box and worth the money. they don't use leater but it still looks good.

This somewhat concerned me as well, until I discovered that dodge doesn't use leather either... in fact, 90% of the seat material in the laramie leather package is simply "high quality vinyl". Thus, the vinyl used on the hotbox is a pretty close match to the vinyl truck interior.
