So You Think You Had a Bad Day at the Office?

I need a change.

Currently I (22) am living at home with the parents and working carpentry construction, deck building to be specific. Framing to finish. My dad's old co-worker wanted me to work for him so I am but I am tired of it.

Now that winter is coming around I don't feel like spending another year in the cold. Plus I have to pay taxes on my own, and I don't have health insurance now. That needs to change.

I get bored with jobs that aren't really my career goal. I went to college for 1. 5 years for my Bachelors in Aviation Technology but took time off due to lack of money for my flight training. I am still looking into loans and grants to help me out.

My girlfriend lives an hour and a half away in Colorado Springs and can't move to the Denver area due to her kids and family and her kid's father. Understandable.

I am living at home because my ex and I broke up and I moved out of the apartment we had. So, not to repeat history, Mackenzie and I are not moving in together as of yet.

I would like to get a job in South Denver or something in the middle ground of "home" and my g/f's apartment so I can see her and yet go home to the ranch and play.

I would really like to get my foot in the door with some aviation company at Centennial Airport but the major FBOs are in a hiring freeze.

So, if anyone in the Denver/Colorado Springs area has any ideas, connections, help, help needed, I would appreciate it. Thank you all.

Nick
