Competition P7100 is a slug, do I need my VP44 back?

Competition Cute kid story

At the school I attend (ERAU in Prescott, AZ) a bunch of the ricers are getting together to start a "Racing Association" with shows/cruises and trips to the drag strip in Phoenix. Posters around campus start with "You think your car is fast?!" LOL... couple of my buddies decided it would be funny to cross out "cars" and put "Dodge Diesel" instead. :)

I think there are only about 2 cars on campus that can take me in a serious 1/4 race... the rest are just ricer posers with the fart can and wing. One kid I was talking to has a "super fast" Nissan Maxima w/ NO2 that runs 14. 2's. HAHAHA... . bought fell out of my chair laughing when he told me it was scary fast! :) Told him my pickup must be insane then.

Ah, this should be fun.

Any bets on how many races I get at the first meeting? How 'bout when my input shaft (stock) breaks from 4x4 launches? It'll break before I lose to rice.

Stefan,

Nope, I was the first of us three (Denis, Luke, and I) to get the transmission done. Fred tried to talk me into the Billet Input but I couldn't swing the $$$ at the time so decided not to get it. Turns out it was a $600+ mistake by not getting it, since sometime in the future I'm going to have him drop the transmission again and throw all the billet goodies in (thinking of saving longer and putting in the output shaft too).

Both Denis and Luke got the billet input shafts, and Denis is very grateful you talked him into it. I'm PO'd every time we race and can't launch cause I'll just spin and he has 4 lenghts on me before I get traction.

I do have some issues with your output shaft though, but will PM to discuss.
