One thing I noticed right away is it makes a serius raddling noise when shutting offwhats up with that.
Any suggestions as to what to look for on anything, its been a tow rig for sure has a goose neck hitch, and brake controller. Under the hood is clean exhaust manifold looks as though its been pretty hot.

When shutting down, disengage the clutch until the motor fully stops. Does it still rattle? If so then I dunno, if not, your flywheel is trashed already

On the dualmass flywheel trucks it's not suppose to rattle the transmission. I know of my nv5600 it if I don't keep the clutch the truck will shake as the motor slows down.
One of the reasons I won't get a cool down timer.
