Has anyone had issues with the Jordan controller?

Mine hasn't been working properly from day 1. Bascially it sticks, so the brakes are always engaged unless I pull back in the brake pedal. It will show like . 05 on the display.

Other thing is the trailer brakes are non-linear. It will start off at like 1. 8, and I'm pushing the pedal harder... harder (AH... STOP!)... harder and all of a sudden... bam and I'm at 3. 2 and the trailer tires are about locked up... nothing in between.

I followed the instructions and everything. I'm going to call them tomorrow and send this one back, but I was just curious if I'm the only one?

Hi Nate. My Jordan seemed to stick also when I first put it in. If I let off the brake pedal, it would still show voltage on the LED. I figured out that the plastic housing tube that the cable runs through was slipping out of the back of the controller just enough to hang up on the controller. It would pull out, fall down a bit and get stuck. Once I snugged that up I have not had a problem since.

As far as the linearity thing, sorry... can't help you there. Mine works very smoothly from just a little tap on the brake all the way to full stop.

Hope you get it figured out. I really like mine. The Prodigy is now my backup unit.

Steve
