2400 mile tow

Cardinal fifth wheel

Went on our first camping trip of the year, a 1500 mile journey into the Blue Ridge Mountains of VA and Western North Carolina.

Just prior to this trip, I purchased a Jordan Ultima to replace my Tekonsha Voyager. I had experienced 1 failed controller under warranty and intermittent brake shuddering during slow stop conditions with the current one.

I didn't want ANY problems with my brakes hauling my 25' Coleman Caravan TT up and down the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Jordan was the answer to my prayers! :D Braking was always smooth and controlled!

Incidently, the CTD performed flawlessly yanking the trailer up and down the mountains.

Kudos to Jordan!Oo.

Where do you have your controller mounted??

I have the same controler in a box in my work shop waiting to be installed.

Did you have any trouble mounting your controler??

Thanks

See Ya

Brake Controller Location

I installed the controller just to the left of the ashtray.

Some of the guys removed the ashtray and placed the brake controller in the created space.

Here is a picture of the location:

I tried to keep the run as short as possible to the brake pedal.

I removed the knee bolster and drilled 2 mounting holes for the brake controller. I also drilled a hole for the wiring to pass through the bolster rather than under it.

Works great!
