JPG or AVI

have tried to down load some DHRA pic from Sept in SLC, the burnout's.

but it might be my camera, just wants to down load AVI's. these are not JPG"S and will not transfer that i can find. any one having this problem? the other thing is i can not see where i can change this to JPG'S. i've tried to commpress and make as small as possable. still no go.

the camera is a cannon A300. I know they are all different.

An AVI file is a movie file. I don't know of any easy way to grab an image from the file. They are usually pretty low resolution too. Only way I know of is to take a screen shot by hitting the print screen button and then pasting that image into a paint program and cutting the image out.

Thanks for your come back, my question then, is, when someone post an action shot on the this site, does their link take you to their home location, or is planted in there reader rigs file?? or what kind of link does it have for the action to be shown?? other wise its just another still shot.

the regular shot are JPG etc. on the computer i can do the movie thing.

When people are showing moving images it's hosted on their site or somewhere else - not here. The motion pictures that you can actually see here are animated GIF images. AVI files would be links.

Thanks, that is what i thought. So I am just going to have to try harder. these burn outs, i thought were great. can you say FULL TRACK? also a big pile of rubber.
