FWIW, my DW used to do customer service and used all the delievery services.

She said that out of all of them, UPS was the best track record so far as finding a misplaced order.
 
UPDATE



I made some calls and found a gear set at a dealer in Alabama. They will fex-ex out overnight for Saturday delivery. So although I will pay more to overnight this I'll at least have the truck done for my trip on Monday.



As for JT's parts..... I'm going to call UPS and refuse receipt of package asking them to 'return to sender' all on their dime. IF they give me any flack I'm calling CC and dispute charge.



Looks like they will lose money on this sale/return, me as a future customer and anyone else who sways away from them by reading this post.

I'll second the advice to call BBB. I did for one company that wouldn't talk to me. Man, after calling BBB he was on the phone to me in a hurry. They don't like having a bad rep with the BBB.
 
I also agree with alerting the BBB. I had an issue with Artic Cat and their warranty. Well, actually Arctic Cat and warranty shouldn't be said in the same sentence. Before, couldn't get the time of day. After filing the complaint, I was a favored customer that they just couldn't help enough. And if it's too late to be helped, it goes against their score. Believe me, they just hate that.
