Does anyone have any idea when they are going to be ready for the new 06 trucks? I only have 800 miles on my truck but i am getting the bug for more power. What mileage should i get to before i chip my truck? thanks

I'm at 2000 miles and have already added a basic Quad XZT to my '06. However when someone comes out with more power in an adjustable box I'll be all over that too.

I think mid to late fall is what Edge told me as for the 2006 Juice. They are having to work around the missing data connection issue.

how is the edge as far as reliability towards the engine. I know the transmission will need to be upgraded. Also what numbers is anyone expecting for the 06s at the wheels with the hot juice

The 06 injector wiring is different,I doubt edge has the edge for 06's yet.

If you go with the juice, before you even spend time putting it on your truck send it in for the HOT upgrade. It's free power for TDR people. And it gives great improvement over the standard juice. Level 5 will starve the pusher pump :-laf

thats what i would plan on doing. While i am here as far as exhausts going since it is a 4 inch already can i just cut out the muffler and straight pipe it to help with EGTs or is a full exhaust the way to go?

With the hot juice and a stock turbo you will very very easily see 1500* in level 4 about 4 seconds into wot. And thats with a gutted cat w/no muffler. I would strongly recomend getting real gauges. Do not rely on the attitudes. I see a consistent 300* egt difference and the monitor wont show more than 36 psi. While drag racing this weekend I saw 1450* and 46 psi boost. The attitude showed 1100* and 36psi. That was in 4wd@level 3.

Where did you mount the edge thermocouple?

Bob

I had the edge drilled about 2" above the isspro. The first probe was almost right where the turbo meets the manifold and the second one was directly above it. Now I have only one because a crack formed between the two. I guess that created a weak spot inbetween the two probes and it cracked after a long trip from florida pulling a 32' DONZI(my ex-boss's) :-laf So in the new manfold I only drilled one hole.

I will bet that cracked manifold was not an ATS :) That is the only manifold I will run on a modified cummins :D
