Thanks, TDR Staff

Would you be interested in a 2nd Attitude display add-on for around $300?

New Intake Manifold Input Needed

How many of you out there wish your Attitude could/would display more parameters than the 4 that it is limited to? I know I'd like to see at least 6 myself.

If a second Attitude monitor could be added to your existing Juice/Attitude, that would give you the ability to display another 4 parameters and cost around $300, would you be interested?

Please vote YES or NO in this thread. I'd like to see how many people would be interested, to approach Edge about doing it if there is interest.

Thanks!

It seems to me that a second monitor kind of defeats the purpose of the all-in-one monitor concept. Might as well have a stack of gauges and a Road Relay. I imagine there would be differences between 2nd & 3rd Gen trucks in what is available to display. What exactly is this new monitor targeted for? Also, what parameters are in question? A top 10 list might be a good place to start. No use going to Edge without some idea of what people want.

Neil

P. S. My vote doesn't count because I don't own a Juice/Attitude. I'm also suffering from wiretapaphobia.

Thanks for the feedback, but perhaps my question is lost on you because you don't have the Juice/Attitude now. Having one in my truck, I wish I could see 6 or 7 of the parameters that the Attitude has the capability of displaying, but the screen is only setup to show a max of 4 parameters at one time. Having a 2nd Attitude to display those other parameters would give me the ability to see that other data.

Right now, I monitor EGT, boost, fuel pressure and % backdown. I'd also like to see coolant temp, air intake temp and oil pressure. Trans temp would be another one if I had an auto instead of the manual. A second Attitude in the truck would give me the ability to see these parameters without having to make adjustments to the Attitude on the dash. This second one could even be put in a less accessable position, since I won't be fiddling with it much to change settings.

Again, looking for input from current Juice/Attitude owners.

Well not running the Juice/Attitude, but what I would have loved to have was stored max numbers for all of the monitored values. I could live with 4 diplays at a time, but would have been very helpful to look at max values after the fact.

JVolpe, I agree with you on that. However, I know that this particular product would be quite easy to bring to market for Edge, requiring no changes to existing software/hardware, so it should be a no brainer, assuming there is interest. :)

If I were looking to buy, I'd want the additional parameters, plus rail pressure.

IMO, I'd want to be able to see for my 3rd gen:

Boost

Pyro (possibly both pre and post?)

Oil Press

Oil Temp (non-specific)

A second oil temp (also non-specific)

Rail Pressure

Coolant temp

And fuel pressure...

And I think the added cost of $300 is a touch high as well... you could buy some quality guages for that much...

Steve, lets assume that we were to add 4 gauges. First, where are you going to put all those? 2nd, the Attitude gives you many more than 4 parameters to choose from, so 4 regular gauges would be a little more limited. Also, installation of another Attitude is quite simple, especially compared to stand-alone gauges, don't you think?

I guess it depends on your skills... I don't think it is that bad, maybe you do??

I mean, it's not like you're hunting for room... you already have the attitude, adding 4 guages would not be that hard to find room for...

And again, it doesn't offer the parameters I want, so I would not consider it... especially if it wouldn't allow for simple fuel pressure in the 3rd gen specific attitude... why would I waste my time/$$ on something that doesn't have all my needs built in...

I would like to be able to see 6-8 paramenters on one screen, even if they make the font smaller (I still have good eyes). Or an option for a full replacement screen that is bigger and will display 6-8 parameters. I really don't like the idea of a second screen (attitude). I also think the $300 price point is too high for an add on screen.

Again, it would only be a second screen, to show another 4 of the available parameters. the Duramax's and 2nd Gen Dodges display the most IIRC. Perhaps I should have put this poll in the 2nd Gen forum. Hmmm.

According to Edge the A2 monitor will work with all Juice boxes. It appears that you can watch more than 4 parameters with the A2.

I haven't seen a pillar mount for the A2 yet... .

The A2 will display 6 parameters plus 2 gauges on it's main screen. However, it's a lot more than $300.

No a-pillar mount for it currently, and I doubt one is in the works.

I would like to see a stand alone Attitude monitor that did not need a juice with it. It would be a nice digital gauge set up. Sililar to the display that TS performance and Quadzilla make now, only in a nicer package.

On a side note I would also like to see edge make a fueling only box for the 2nd gen 24v's again, one that would play nice with the smarty.

I agree... I would like to find an nice all-digital guage cluster that wasn't performance driven... there are still a few of us that don't feel the need to BOMB.
