I just installed the Juice/Attitude in my 05 auto and the trans slip function does not work the only thing that is in that part of the screen is the letter N and it stays there even when the convertor is locked up. Does anyone have any ideas?

Call edge Monday, they were always great help for me. My first Juice wasnt working properly, so I told them what was going on and they sent me a brand new one which worked great. Then when I sent mine in for the HOT upgrade, just more great service. Edge should be a good start, maybe its the Juice/Attitude or something with the datalink.

Just my 2 cents

try making the attitude display slippage, should show N until 50 mph then it should show 0. 0. Hopefully no slippage...

If you have done this and it still doesnt work then i agree call edge.

I don't no for sure but I think that I would still see at least some type of percentage on the screen not N for not being locked because I know that the convertor is locked, and one more thing about the Juice is that I read here that the 600/610 engines run very hot and on my monitor I only see 1250 at wide open on power level 5.

I think the increased timming and some other internal magic (boost fooling) keep the egt's to a reasonable level using the j/a... most people on here dont complain about the J/A combo being overly hot... . just my 2 cents, sure someone with more tech background will chime in.

I programmed mine for bigger tires and my slip indicator still works...

Well even the new documentation from Edge on the Juice/Attitude states if you have had the ECM "Pinion Factor" reprogrammed for larger/different tire size then the TC monitoring does not work correctly.

I agree that the Juice/Attitude was the best performance box for keeping EGTs under control. Even my HOT Juice/Attitude and EZ stack on high settings kept EGTs under 1500* at the track. Much better than my TST w/twins and EZ stack does.

I called Edge today and they confirmed that because I had my ecm reflashed for larger tire that the slip indicator will not work properly.

OK what i did was use my attitude to adjust for the tire size, my ECM is still stock.

That will correct the speed display and performance test on the Attitude I think, but won't change the actual speedometer or anything off in the ECM because of the larger tires. At least your warranty will last longer that way.

Why would his warranty last longer, if a dealer did the reflash for tires?

I think what he did was just adjust the Attitude for tire size and he didn't get the dealer to reflash the ecm for pinion factor. Because of his larger tire size, he's going farther than the odometer says which makes the warranty last longer.

Please pardon my incompetence. I was an English major in college, but sucked at math. How or what should my value be on the Edge/ Attitude for 285/70/17 tires? I messed with the default setting the other day, and failed to write down what it’s suppose to be. I can’t tell a difference with anything, but the numbers to make sense to me, thanks in advance. Also does anyone know what the barometric reading is for & how it relates to the motors performance? Mine is always 30. 1 or 30. 0.

The Juice/Attitude tire size setting is circumference in mm. 285/70R/17 calculates to 2608. 5mm on my tire calculator.
