What is the average time to install a Juice and Attitude? I have one coming soon and want to know how much time to allow to install.

On my 05 it took me not quite a hour, that included doing everything. The hardest thing to do was tap the exhaust manifold, it just takes a little time. You don't really want to mess up when you drill and tap that. Just use a little grease, magnet, vacuum cleaner, what ever you prefer, to keep as much shavings as possible out of the turbo! It did take me a little longer to do mine for the fact that I mounted the display just left of the steering column, I didn't like the looks of the attitude on the dash. Good luck with your install, it really is pretty simple, I can remember when I have ever hopped up something that had these results and was so simple.

Has anyone tried drilling & tapping the hole for the EGT with the engine running? Seems that would blow any pieces out.

I know I am going to hammered for this one!!! I drilled and tapped with the engine running. I duct taped the tailpipe closed except for about a 1/2" opening across the tailpipe. If you don't do that it just blows the tape off the tailpipe. And whatever you do, wear safety glasses that wrap around your eyes. I guess safety goggles would be more appropriate. The shavings were flying. A set of Mechanix gloves help as the exhaust and manifold will get hot. I totally cringed at the thought of doing this but the instructions that came with my DiPrico gauges told it this way. That was 3,000 miles ago and everything has been perfect since. I also used grease on the drill bit and the tap but not sure how good that worked. I think between the truck running and the grease there was no chance for anything to go down to the turbo. I also tapped mine up by tube number 3 also in accordance with DiPrico instead of down near the turbo. Don't know how much difference that makes I am sure you could get 1,000 opinions on that here. The gauge works great and reflects temperatures that I have seen other members say they are getting at certain speeds/RPM whether loaded or unloaded. I run between 500-600 degrees at 70 MPH unloaded and about 800-900 degrees loaded with the TT. Hottest I've seen was for several moments at 1150 on a hill. Thats it and it was very brief. I don't shut down until I see 200-250 on the gauge. Just my two cents worth. And the rest of you guys... be gentle on me...

That is how ken johnes did mine with the motor running. I did the install on every thing but the pyro tap I just had him do it cuz he had all the bits so I didn't have to bye them
