juiced duramax, not so tuff anymore!

my buddy has a 2005 duramax with the allision. he recenty put the juice on it and a diffrent exhaust. he's been talking smack saying he's got the fastest truck in town. i've been for a few rides in it and it shure is quick! it also smokes like a locomotive! well, finally we met on a backroad thats dead straight and no houses on it. to tell you the truth i didn't think i had a chance. i thew it in 4x4 and brought up the boost. his passanges dropped the hat and off we went. he pulled a lenth ahead of me. when i finally hit 4th gear i went by him and pulled about 3 lenths ahead. i looked down at my egt and was at 1500* i let off and slowed to a stop. he wanted to go again but i declined. he's one of those people who in conversation will always have one better story or is better. his buddy was with him so there will be no story telling about this race. if he were a fisherman it would "be the one that got away" ... james

Good story.

I was behind a late 90's Ford PS yesterday and he had all the "horsepower" stickers in the back window... . Bad A** Boys drive bad A** toys, Sh**n' Rams... you know the type. As I pulled along side him I hear the turbo spool up and the straight exhaust but he backed out as soon as I got a hood length on him and wouldn't play anymore.

Have you guys been beating up on the Ford guys around here?? :-laf

I was playing with a duramax a bit on the highway a few days ago. He was trying to beat me through some busy traffic. I kept making better lane choices, and he kept getting more and more frantic swinging way right and passing people trying to get ahead. The funny thing was that every time he got on it, a huge cloud of white smoke appeared behind his truck. Looked healthy...
