I have a 10 hour drive at night for the most part. . And my alternator doesn't charge. .

The pull starts at 5:30, daylight is roughly 6:00 am. My math says you can make it. As long as the sleds there, you can hook. It may not count in the class you want it to... ... ... . :-laf

I have heard that Ol Gene borrowed a truck and then beat his recently sold and former ride which was painted Silver. Shame on you Gene that wasn't very nice... ..... :-laf ... Andy

It wasn't on purpose. The truck I borrowed, had my old turbo, injectors, wheels and tires. It hadn't been able to beat Calvin Miller(truck to beat in western PA) up to that point, but the MT Baja MTXs showed their stuff on that track. (Why don't people listen to me about those tires?)



SledPuller I had Truxus on it, and was making a touch more power and over spun the track. Dern did it sound good!



BTW, the "Holstein Express" I borrowed, was out of 1st by an inch. :{

I don't think so,LOL. Mine will be the truck with the cover over it and the keys hidden so you can't get it all dirty while attempting anything like that. Besides,I don't have enough power to even think about attempting one of these sled pulls... ... ... . Andy

Considering I never opened the tailgate, or adjusted that hitch, not my problem it fell open!



With a name like "Holstein Express" do ya reckon maintenance is a bit lacking? :-laf



Also, with 1300 pounds hanging out front, it did not like to go anywhere in 2wd. I don't know how those reg cab guys do it.

Dockboy, I thought I made it clear, I said TRUCK. Not an underpowered cowboys Cadillac.

Fords are nice cruisers, but they just can't get it done in competition.
