Looking for Diesel performance shop in Larmie, WY

I hope there is a regulator in the KDP kit. I also have an Air Drill I will be bringing home. If it can't drill it..... nothing can... .

Josh

Thanx Bill. If any of you guys can think of any odd-ball things that we may need, grab'm. I didnt' think of cardboard till it was mentioned...

Josh

Bomb party

I am new to the midwest area, just rolled in from the Pacific Northwest, how far is Ramsey from Milwaukee, WI. I could possibly make it and have compressor, hand tools , and some good diesel knowledge. I attended a Bomb party with the NWBombers in Washington and had a great time. 50+ trucks in attendance. Anyhow I live in Wind Lake, WI about 20min outside of Milwaukee.

:D :D :D :D

Dave

You'd be runnin about 5 hours to get to my place. If you don't have anything goin on... .common out... . If you don't... no biggie, that's a hike!

Josh

Hi Dave;

I got my start with the NWBombers crew, too. I post on the website with the same handle. Great bunch of guys that I met.

Probably best to get you setup with the very active Wisconisn Gang. Amianthus is part of the crewe.

Norm (Archer) is going to be there? Great.

Jeff;

You know about a Dynojet in the TC area? Gueningsman? Can you contact them to host a dyno day?

Josh;

Around 2 weeks and counting. Sounds to be a good trun out.

Hi Josh

I would like to swing up if there's still room for another truck. Chillydog mentioned timing too... is that a possibility?

Darren

DAB,

You are more than welcome if you can make it. I don't think Josh cares how many people show up, the more the better! I'm starting to get the feeling we should all bring tents and have a big azz party Saturday night! I will have my timing kit along, so if anyone needs to do their timing it will be no problem. The only thing I ask of anyone who is planning on doing their timing is to bring a can of brake cleaner with so we can get the pump gear good and clean.

Bill

Count me in !! This sounds like it will be A hell of A great time. . I'm A photographer , so I will bring my equipment along and I will be able to produce photos on the spot for all people interested . . I will try to remember to bring some fire wood for your fire pit ring. . See yous guys then ...

Casey

timing too.

I was thinking about timing also. I'm more interested in knowing where its at. If its under 13 we gotta bump it up.

Yes all are welcome!!! If you want feel free to bring a tent, I have one. I have some firewood... and can get more, but if you want to bring some great! It's pretty much a BOMBing party, with the added KDP fix. Chillydog is willing to do Timing, and by the sounds of it lots of knowlege will be present. I have about an acre, as long as no one parks on myseptic we are all set! :D Oo.

Hey guys, I am going to try and make it as well. I am thinking of ordering the 3K gsk kit. Have any of you planning on coming installed it and would you be interested in helping?

Also, I am interested in checking my timing and possibly bumping it up a little.

See you there!!

Dan

GSK and timing bump. The two go hand in hand.

I've got a few GSK under my belt. Never done timing on a P7100

Will help anyway you want.

I will try to be there. I definately need the KDP fix. I am drag racing at Norwalk Ohio july 17th, but should be back in time for the party if I hurry.

What should I bring to get the KDP fix? Any parts needed?

Joel;

I don't think the CPFF jig works on pre 94 Cummins. I'll try to find out the truth.

Jeff;

Should have order the 4k. The extra spring may come in handy for something... ... ?

-John

I had a thought... ... I know here comes trouble.....

Where I work we have a guy that comes in and does interior repairs. He can dye guage pods and if you have any holes in your dash you don't want he fixes them. If you guys think you might have a use for this service I can ask him if he would like to come out. The last guage pod I had him match to my interior cost $20. Pretty cheep and it's matched to your truck.

Just an idea, let me know if there is interest!

Josh

The CPFF jig can work on the First Gen. Although I have never done one. The slop on the jig is enough that it will work on the First Gen, Second Gen, and 24 valve. It is very easy to do.

I'll also be bringing a timing kit. It's not real hard to do once you have the chart. But I won't be there all night. Although, if someone with a first gen wants timing done, say so before hand.

What kind of mods are you guys planning? Injectors, KDP, timing, what? This will give me an idea of the tools I'll need to bring.
