It was a great time had by all! From what I gathered, we killed 6 KDP's and put in the one GSK. Right now I'm going to try and get everything put together for another gathering in the early fall before the snow flies. (if it flies) We had a good showing, of almost 30 trucks, 2 first gen, many second gen and even a first gen. If anyone has pics please send them to me. I am going to be in contact with Kurt (with the 03) to set up a web page for a local Chapter.

Josh

PS I have JohnE's safety glasses, and someone's pump drive socket.

Had a great time. Very special thanks to Josh for setting up a superb event. Dude, I so hope you didn't go broke with all that food and stuff you bought.

It was good to see some faces I haven't seen in a while. Good to meet some new faces too.

Chili, thanks for the insight with the under-valved variety. And for making me realize I should pay closer attention to which sockets I bring to do timing adjustments.

I had a great time. Although, I now have a mystery coolant leak and a slight (VERY slight) misfire at idle. Could I have lifted the head a little? Oh well. Just one more thing to fix this outage.

Can't wait to see the pictures.

See you guys around.

I had a great time. Lots of nice people lots of nice trucks (Although some of you guys need to clean your engines). Thanks Josh for hosting us all. I know you put a lot of time and effort into it and you showed us how to do it right.

Next time at Scott's?

I believe the socket is Norm Archer's.

The glasses are for the wall of fame and for future users.

The red thread lock should go with the KDP if you can get the cap to stop leaking.

Next meet will be different theme? Maybe something for the 24 valve crowd?

Good idea. It sure was lonely being the only properly-valved one there at the end of the day. Electron control is THE only way to go!:D

it was a fun time. just sorry that i was unable to stick around any longer... met a lot of great guys and found good hook ups for parts (exhaust :D ).

anyway, i am now in the process of setting up a website at mntdr.org. please send me any and all pics from this meet that you might have. best way is probably to upload them to my ftp server @ ftp://ftp.rebby.com/incoming/

please send all pics in the highest resolution possible. i will make another posting here once mntdr.org is up an running. ;)

Josh, sorry I couldn't make it. :( I got tied up out of town and didn't get back untill saturday night.

Sounds like you had a good party!

I'll need to see how I can get ahold of the KDP fixing jig if possible so I can still get my truck fixed. If you still have it and it is available, I could stop and pick it up to avaiod shipping.

Curt;

I tried to ftp but need more information. Email me the details and I will ftp the photos to you that CMAC sent to me.

EVERYONE

If you want the photos that CMAC took on Saturday, let me know and I will email to you. He has poor service and I am blessed with cable modem and already have the photos.

I will do the same forwarding service for anyone with photos.

I believe CMAC had the slide-in laden truck that was close to putting air under the front tires on departure with his

2002 Quad Cab H. O. Striat (sic) pipe, 6spd ,4X4, Long box, Fully Loaded

I thought it was odd that I was the only one there with an E-Brake. . I was always under the idea that , everyone that hauls anything heavy , would put one on. . But anyway , I like mine because it helps keep the front tires on the ground for better stearing capabilaties... .

I have a brake. I just didn't need to use it though. Although I shoulda.

Yup. I looked real swift trying to break the tires loose, then missing the shift. Oy! But 4. 10 gears aren't real forgiving when one is trying to spin tires for show. They just don't let it happen.

You shouldn't have said you missed the shift... we all just assumed your truck was gutless! Or your clutch was slipping..... (boy am I in for it now!)

Josh

I just wanted to thank Josh for putting on a great show. Big thanks to JohnE for the KDP. I would love to attend another get together this fall to possibly bombing my low mileage hauler.
