Anyone Check Out A Car In St. Louis, MO For Me?

OK anybody smoked a

june 1 2006 is when our fuel goes from 300 parts of sulpher per million to 50 parts. the fuel companies are supposed to add some kind of lubricant in place of the sulpher. does anyone know what the lubricants will be. its the government throwing our fuel mileage out the window especially when i will have to add motor oil to my fuel.

No the switch hasn't been made, and the current diesel is 500ppm sulfur. When we switch over to ULSD - which may happen sooner than june 06, it will be 15ppm. I can't wait for ULSD. :)

I was nosing around on the BP website and they said they are supplying some of the Ultra Low Suphur Diesel Fuel for specific customers... ... bus systems and maybe Ralph's Grocers in California as I recall. I suspect BP has a pilot plant going and they are figuring out how to make the stuff. As BP is a big player in Europe, I would expect them to have the technology in a fairly advanced state.
