I'm just posting my findings today as I went over stuff under my truck. Saturday I took it out four-wheeling and was getting a sharp pop now and then from the front end upon braking. I have also noticed this on the road from time to time on the right side but yesterday it was doing it on both sides. So today I got under there and found that the bushings were loose on both ends of both upper control arms. I think these arms were changed out for older used ones when the front end of this truck was worked on after it's accident before I got it. Anyway I removed them both and spot-welded the bushings to the arms so I hope this gets rid of the problem until I can get nice aftermarket ones.
