Just another gauge install question

I just ordered the Isspro gauges from Geno's. I was thinking of putting the trans temp sending unit in the upper test port on the passenger side of the trans. Question: If I undo that plug how much fluid is going to come out? Do I need to be ready with a rag, or a bucket?



Any install advise would be appriciated

Non came out when I pulled that plug, just be sure the engine is not running.

Almost none came out when I took out the plug, there is a picture in my reader rig of the plug I used if that is the one you are referring to.

if your going to use that port your sender is probably not going to fit into the housing, so your going to need the following from your local hardware store.



1/8NPT X 1/4NPT Bell Reducer and a 1/4NPT X 1/8NPT Bushing



the supplies should run you about $3. 00, and should only take you about five minutes to install.
