No real surprise there. 15hp would be hard to feel, I remember 30 HP being negligible when adding power to my trucks. 70 lb ft maybe. But the incremental increases are what add up over the years, at least to me.

Just like on my 2017 Ram 5500 with 325 HP and 750 lb ft TQ. I added Stealth Module... couldn't really feel adding 30HP/70 TQ, but I can feel 60HP/130TQ. I think this is a similar comparison.

I enjoyed that article in the TDR as well.

For sure Ron good article. I do not want to be a drag to anyone who ever upgrades. I still have my 07.5 with Smarty and Suncoast trannie and 4.30s. Only 145k miles and new leather inside. When I went from 48RE to 68RFE I saw a world of difference. I personally think the upgraded 6.7 is almost tapped out and think in a couple years we will see a revolutionary new engine with great HP/TQ ratings. But for now we are totally enjoying our 07.5... We tow a new 20k 5er at 13MPG and could not be happier. When the 8 to 10 speeds come out we will consider but not before.

I just sold the Smarty and EGR delete I had on my 09 4500. Ran it on level 5 (90HP/180TQ) for 8 years. I absolutely could feel that power pulling our 21.2K Lb Mobile Suites. As much as I resisted, I had to have a little more power on my 2017. Couldn't get a response from MADS, so went elsewhere. Even though Stealth advertises its module doesn't work on C&CS, it works great on mine 385 HP 870TQ.

It's all good Brother, because here we are, proud Ram Cummins owners.

Cheers, Ron
