JUst bit the bullet and bought a new 2005

I just traded in my 2001 for a new 2005 - 3500 SLT quad cab, long bed, will pick up on Friday after the bedliner, B&W turnoverball hitch and in bed 6 pin connector installed. Since I am moving to southern Arizona I went with the 2WD for more clearance on my gooseneck trailer. Anything special I should look out for while I am breaking her in? IS ther a blow-by hose that needs to be re-routed?

every morning when i start my 05 it shoots out freeon i think from the compressor but i do know it is freeon. It makes a very noticeable sound that doesn't sound right. Its not just the compressor turning on its louder not to mention i can see the cloud of freeon. I've had it in the dealership 3 times but they can't seem to fix the problem. I'm taking it to a differnt dealership this christmas to see if they can figure out why it keeps doing it. I mean don't feel bad about the 05 but mine so far has only had that problem and i'm sure they will get it fixed before my warranty is up, i hope. Other than that i have loved my truck. I think i'm putting out 35 lbs of boost so far on a stock motor that is straight piped.

Have you added dye to your ac to see if it r134 escaping or is this just a visual thing?

klenger, I am moving your way, will be in Tucson for about 18 months while I build our new home outside of St, David. My wife and daughter already relocated, they are out east about 7300 east Tanque Verde in Rancho Esperero. Once my Utah house sells I will be joining them, hopefully sooner than later.
