Congrats and welcome, nice choice on truck I kind of like it myself. Get on here in the 24v's you'll find out a lot of stuff you'll need to know, and what to expect.
 
Thanks Already Having Problems

Thanks believe me I'll do that I want to learn as much as possible on this truck, 89k miles and already have to change out the vacumm pump, wich was going to be $2,200 but found one for $552. 00 also my tail pipe broke off but found someone to fix that as well. I'll be reading this cite alot thanks for the welcome aboard.

Actually, if you have not done the repair... look into doing just the seal replacement... I have to go back and search my archives to give you the lead (maybe someone here can fill in in on this... ), but I got a kit with tools and video for about $65. It is the same as the pump R&R but doing the repair yourself. I did it on my '01 and it is not that hard to do.



I kinda' wish I still had my '01... the 2500 of that vintage seems more of a truck than my '05 3500! Hopefully yours is the half- year model with the disc brakes in the rear.

fuel pressure

well here it goes, did the fuel pressure and poof no pressure!!! no way ok so went down to pep boys got a transfer pump for $179. 00 and now I have pressure of 19psi is this good? now going to look into the fass system or holley blue or the bully dog? any sugesstions. Had no idea had this much to learn so fast :)

Dont go with a fass pump too many problems.

Id go with an air dog :D

It will all be second nature in a couple of months :)
