Hi, everybody!
Saturday, we all went to the mountains near Caliente, NV to cut our Christmas tree. Got a couple for some other folks while up there, too.

Rather than remove the camper shell (P. I. T. A!) I took the untagged 1500lb $50 trailer. there were two places where I was able to "open it up" and create the equation: 9300GCVW + uphill + (90-100mph) = 900*F (post turbo)

pulls so smooth and nice that I can't imagine how much better 500HP would feel (mine peaked at 250 last month)
Most of the road was covered at 70-80mph and about 4-500*F... .

this leads me to believe that I have pretty much all the fueling that would be halfway safe/practical in my hands, but should get a bigger housing, if for no other reason than to drop EGT... I've got a B-D turbomount brake on the stock 12cm---- Will a larger housing still fit, or is my brake going to keep me married to the 12?

Your doing fine with what you've got. #ad

If your going to hold 900 for a long time thow you should realize or maybe you know but your at around 1400+ egt. If you like to lower that a little you could go with a 16cm2 housing for your hx35. Also I suppose you lost your cat to #ad

The BD brake will work with the 12, 14 or 16 housing just fine. It's only if you're thinking of going to the HX40 that you'll need to worry about getting a different model. By the way toques are at seamstresses ?? place getting the badges on you wanted #ad

Cool x2---that's good news about the housings! Should both the 14 and the 16 be wastegated, or should the 16 be non-wg'd?
(eventually would probably wanna do more fueling, once the #ad
wears off from my present level)
Just told the kids about the toques, and then had to explain "what's a seamstress" #ad

Keep up the good work, and wish all those in the "great white north" a Merry Christmas/Joyoux Noel... . rm

Kitty's been gone for a year or more. I don't miss it. exhaust is a 4" open that exits forward of RR tire. I did the math from a different post and came up with about 1500* initial EGT before turbo extracts energy #ad

I wonder about water injection, in conjunction with the bigger housing. I'd like to keep the Hx35, so as to keep my ex-brake, so how does the idea of a wastegated 16 and H2O injection sound? (don't say "loud"; that's a "given" #ad
) Maybe I'll blow off the propane idea, since I'm getting plenty of heat for my purposes (picking on/terrorizing Mustangs and Chevies #ad
)as it is. Even though I'm an incurable leadfoot, I still like this truck enough to do 1,000,000 miles, if possible, so I don't want to shorten up the life too much.

Hey Piers---if I go "16" should it be w-gated or not? will hold off on "heat" until got the new TC, but then will probably hafta get a "fix"

Rich go with the non wastegated 16, you only have to move your exhaust forward 1 1/4" to compensate for not having a wastegate.
Toques are in the mail #ad
