I installed the 3200 RPM governor spring today and wow what a difference. :--) I would highly reccomend it to anyone who has not yet upgraded to it. My truck pulls much better all the way up and the shifts are sweet. I can now shift higher and not get that slump between 2nd and 3rd, just seems to hold the rpm up better to allow for a smoother shift and also runs smoother all the way from stop to 5th gear. I love it. Now it ranks up there with my Borgensen steering shaft.

i also just put in the 3200 governor spring that thing sould have been in there when they made those pumps... did you grind off the AFC lever in there? i did and it really runs now and i thought i had a smoker with just PODs-when i get on it now and look in the mirror now i ask where did all the cars go? :-laf it probaly dont help with the stock 21cm on the turbo

No I didn't grind the lever, I was a little leary of grinding on it so I left it alone. I tow a 5th wheel trailer with mine so I have to watch how much I mod. I think I have all the power I need now and it drives much better.

I also tow a 5er and couldn't believe the difference for me and the manual transmission. The second to third shifts were no fun on the on ramps. I would say its the best money I have spent... ... just flat out, a useable mod. It fuels right up to 3400 for me.
