I am a new CTD owner. I am using TDR to make all my repairs go easier. Here are a few more tips that may help some other member. The majority of the job will be done with only one hand as space is tight. The job is not difficult , just a true test of your patience. Low fuel level is very helpful as you move the tank back to front. I used a floor jack with a thick piece of plywood approx. 1' by 2' to lower and raise and support the tank. You can pivot the board to remove the rear tank support band. Using a 1/4 drive short socket and short ratchet was helpful to remove the filler hoses. I could not remove the electrical plug until I lowered the tank. Hint. If there is a red piece on the top of the plug pull it with pliers to remove. You can't see well above the tank so. Hint. Use a small screw driver to pry up on the passenger side / top side of the plug then pull. I wish I know this before. A small screwdriver ( I used a 6" angle head pry bar) will help here. Do not use as a pry bar. Use the last inch or so of the tip to help your index finger squeeze up on the bottor ear of the fuel line connector. To remove the fuel lines, use fingers to press top and bottom of plastic ears. I was able to press the top only and have it stay down. pull line back 1/8" then do bottom the same. Do top again then use small tool to get bottom side and the line will pull off. Consider the outer line as practice. The first line was off in 30seconds, the second line about 10 minutes. I did use a large channel lock to unscrew the lid but it will not come off all the way unless you remove the electrical connector. Tank removal. Jack tank up fully then completely remove the bands. The tank will hold itself in place if it is in the full up position. With bands removed lay under tank next to floor jack and steady tank with one had and lower jack other hand. It makes sense when you do. Last hint. If you decide to test fuel sensor outside the tank you must wait about a minute for the dash light to change as you move the float from empty to half or full. I hope this of help to someone.
