i just got a 2000 auto and just ordered a comp box and the TST power grabber. what is the best setting i can get away without hurting anything. and which injectors do i get? 275's , dd2's or the 3's i plan on get the dtt transmission soon.

You had better do the transmission now. If your lucky with the box setting #1 may let your transmission live for a while. Some trans. will and some will not. I think the general consensus "might be 65 hp". My trans was one of the nots.

With VA and 275's my TC lasted about 25,000 till the chattering started.

Replaced with BD Tc and valve body. Rode it hard for till 241,000. I then only replaced The TC and 2nd gear band - everything else looked like new.

I feel that the fuel delivery of just anything more than an EZ (Comp without wire) is a bit aggressive for an un-modified transmission.

Before I had my transmission worked on, I felt the the fuel delivery from only my DDIII injectors was easier on the trans. Pedal travel is important to these transmissions, when you add an EZ or equiv, you get the power with very little pedal travel, this isn't good. With injectors, you get more power later in the pedal, just like a stock truck, but you are also getting more power overall. I'm thinking of running just a fueling box that I can turn on and off, no timing box at all. I like the feel of the truck more without a timing box.
