I'm a bit of a movie geek. SO... . I love picking out mistakes in movies. Anyway, if you watch the trailer for this film, it contains dialogue and scenes with an elderly dead man. This isn't in the film AT ALL. The last time I saw this was the movie Red Dawn. The Red Dawn trailer has a great scene with a tank in a McDonalds. That wasn't in the film. The Red Dawn trailer also has scenes of the love story between the pilot and own of the girls. Gotta love it.

I liked it, great soundtrack, has chick flick potential. Sort of a slightly anti-wealth attainment class, feel sorry for the hapless poor, my useless parents did this to me, with a guilt ridden teen angst type whom blames others for her own misfortunes and creates other misfortunes to cover up the earlier misfortunes. .

The main female character who loves her younger brother and hates her parents (Mom died, Dad lost job as cop now security guard and remarried a drug using white trash mother figure) and has numerous run-ins with the local constabulary, is working class version of a Heather of the "Heathers Movie". She meets an artsy "writer type" HS grad who kinda looks like a young Michael J. Fox (who has his own set of issues with his mom due to Dad's death and departure years earlier) and an exceptionally useless best friend). He has a rather frustrating time being almost dead (think chasing down an air leak in a fuel system kind of frustration) and trying to solve his own soon to be murder case. All this with absolutely no signs from the rather helpful plot saving elderly guy in the movie trailer because he somehow wound up on the cutting room floor.

Thats about all I can say w/o spoiling it. I gave it a 7. 5-8 out of 10. I might pick up the soundtrack though.

!!!!!!!!!!!!spoiler Info!!!!!!!!

There appears to be only 1 trailer and no teasers. I checked the homepage. The thing is this trailer is more misleading then others. Especially since the old guy the trailer tells Nick Powell that he has solve his own murder. Well in the movie he doesn't die he is "about to die". Basically he is stuck in a limbo of sorts. He knows who "almost killed him" and he has to figure out how communicate with the living and make them fess up and get them to "find" his body, get help before he really dies. This is a remake of a Swedish film and that at least gets mentioned as the credits roll.
