Just got this hot off the press. The latest issue of Diesel Power. I highly recommend it for all you Diesel junkies. This is issue #2 for this brand new Mag. It is a bi-monthly publication and it is focused on the Amerian Diesel pick-up market. Need I say more, go out and get a copy!!!!

Take a look at this. In the latest issue of Diesel Power there is a story of the worlds largest and most powerful Diesel. This engine produces 109,000 HP and get this 6,000,000 lb-ft. of torque

It's for ultra large ships that carry 10,000 steel containers.

Just take a look at this photo those are men standing on the engine block :--)

I think as the Mag. grows it will become more oriented towards the Cumins.

Right now they are chasing the numbers. More guys are buying the F brand.

Of course it is getting more popular for them to swap in a Cummins when they realize they need a better diesel.

Hopefully they will cover the Diesel Nats at IRP correctly.

I was there SAt, and the F brands appears to be dieing. The C brand showed better.

At one time they were asking for some Bowties to go Dyno. There were few.

It has been said before the editorial content of magazines are bought and paid for by the ads example if a magazine has more ads that are for ford products the magazine will tilt toward ford. same for chevy or dodge. simple It does not matter how many problems ford has the magazine will excuse the problems to keep the ad revenue.

Where are you guys finding this mag at? I've looked at a few stores around here and can't find it! No subscription info yet either I take it?

I passed on the newest issue. One look at the cover and I lost interest.

LOL, I hear ya. Yeh the second issue does seem to have a lot of Ford stuff. I'm sure the next issue won't have as much and maybe they will focus on the Cummins. Regardless it is a great Mag and the only Mag. that focuses on the US Diesel Pick-up.

My first issue I picked up at my local supermarket of all places. The second issue I found at Barnes & Noble. I would say any large book store would have it in the Magazine section. Issue # 2 just hit the news stands this past week.

Good Luck,

I found my first issue at Wally world... ... But, can't find the second issue anywhere. I have tried 3 different wallyworlds and 2 advanced autoparts. Still can't find it!

While looking at Off-road mag, there was an ad for the dieselpower mag, and said available at Wal mart, advanced auto, 7-11 and a couple of others. I still can't find the 2nd issue!!!!!!!!

I got mine and was disappointed that it was dedicated to Fords. I think that they would have a better magazine if they spread each issue accross the board instead of just one manufacturer. I know ads revenue is what's important but if this is going to be Diesel power then they need to offer a little of everything. They'll last longer that way and tick off less people too.

Don't forget that the editor is a Ford guy.

I've bought both issues at Wal-Mart. Last time there, they had 10-12 copies.

Subscriptions are now available.

Personally, I feel that a publication claiming to be "The Voice Of The Turbodiesel Enthusiast" should maybe portray more accurately the true voice of us, the true enthusiasts, I know that it won't be just a Dodge book, but maybe even one article of any relevance... . I guess there is the one on putting in a turbo timer, but it seems as though the masses are all F's and C's, too bad for them..... someday things will make sense to them too... . lol Until then I guess we will get to be the ones who enjoy the best.
