Nice truck Hermansdiesel. Your going to fall into diesel heaven. My sister has the same truck. They pull a Alfa 5th wheel.

CTD=more smiles per miles

Thanks for the nice words. I am already in Diesel Heaven. My '01 F350 Powerstroke pulled my 30ft. enclosed race car trailer for many miles. This trailer when loaded weighed close to 12,000lbs. I had to put a Banks Stage 3 kit on the F350 for this reason. I'm sure the Cummins pulls it with ease.

mberry It depends on how you work it. Best way to break it in is to work it hard! The harder you work it said:
Thanks, I am planning on changing the oil, oil filter , and fuel filter when I hit 1,000 miles.

Good looking truck. . glad to see you got a long bed :D Nothing worse than a 1 ton truck with a short bed... :D

Scott

Thanks, but I can't agree with you more. My last 2 trucks were both long beds and I wouldn't go back to a short bed which I had on my first truck.

1 ton short beds are so much easier to park and they fit in the avg garage.

Nothing better than a shortbed 1 ton. LOL :cool: Ya know, its all in what your going to use it for. Long beds are good for construction, short beds are good for everyday driving. Ive had both and I like my SWB :cool:

I have also owned both and can attest to how hard it is to park a LWB truck especially a Dully in any parking lot. Just try driving one into NYC!! To be honest after my last truck a 2001 F350 Dully Powerstroke pictured below, I never want to drive a LWB every single day. My new Dodge is a little easier than my old Ford, but marginally. My '05 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Hemi Power works just fine for everyday run arounds. That little Jeep is just amazing.

I traded off my 02' for an 05' and really like it but miss the clatter of the 02'. All in all I am glad I upgraded, the 02' was a 2500 and my 05' is a 3500.
