So now I have this Rhino which is fun to drive and crawl up mountains... And the Kawasaki. .
I have been wanting one of the KLR 650's for about 20 years ..... Funny thing is... it was $5000 back then... As it is NOW!! They ahve not changed it very much over the years so it has gotten cheaper to build over the years.
Yes this is a Dual-Sport and it is street legal... .
Pretty good suspension and lots of good power but it is by no means a street legal "jumping and ripping bikè... just good off road trails and good highway manors.
The MSRP is $5200 but you might be able to haggle a few hundred...
There are several on E-bay for $2500 to $3500 that are in good shape...

The stock tires on the KLR is good for regular trails and easy roads and is very good on the street but Deep Sand and rocks, it lack alot. Digs like a miner in sand and skitters on rocks... But all in all a fun machine...
