Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Just hit 100K - thank you - what maintenance needs done?

Do I need a valve adjustment



I have a new fan belt installed

new coolant

new thermostat

always change fluids when recommended





What else?

Some might say hoses, but just rotate the air in the tires and you'll be fine.

100k came and went twice with nothing specal.

I would definitely do a valve adjustment. I have seen a couple 24-valves well out of spec long before 100k.



You may flush & replace the PS and Brake fluids if you haven't done so



Give it a wash 'n wax and polish the tailpipe and it'll serve you well for the next 100k

I agree with Vaughn. The valves NEED adjusted. The PS and brakes may save you some money here in the near future.
