I could run 13. 9x with a PDR HX35 w/12cm² housing.

But of course the EGT's were up there ... ... when Ihad that turbo I was around 445hp

Dave,

I'm still running my STOCK, HX35 (bummer). EGT are 1600

at end of drag strip, and 600 to 800 going down the road (no towing). Everything we've set up on the engine was set with the intent of going to a HX40, now I've just got to get the money... . :{

to get one. For everyday driving, and the occasional stoplight to stoplight "racing", the HX35 has been fine. But I know I'd get much better performance at the strip with a bigger huffer. . :D

So far, my best times at the track have been 15. 21 @ 88. 35 MPH.

in 2WD launch mode. In 4WD launch mode, my 60' times droped from 2. 6 to 1. 9 sec. but ET's and top speed didn't change. Another

indication that my turbo peters out at the upper end. Oh yea, my race weight (with driver) is 7530#

Have fun.

Brian

This is what I figured. I have a best run of 14. 09 at 95 mph with my 35. I know a 40 will cool things down and give me more top end but I was wanting to keep the quick spool-up of the 35 for the street.

I think I'll see if I can get it in the 13's before I bail on it. :D

I ran a 13. 87@96. 7 with my stock hx35,It does have a 14 housing on it,and i ran it with a G-tech,not at the track,so it may be off a little,from the cars i ve raced,i would say its right on the money,ET wise. I know i could get the hx35 in the 13. 6 range with the new race TC,and an earlier 3-4 shift alone.

I ran 13. 90 @ 100 mph , bone stock HX-35 . At the same meet , a friend ran 13. 50 @ 103 mph also with an HX-35.
