Forrest

Agreed, I've only met one other Forrest in my life, and he was the one I was named after. It was really weird being in the same room with someone else that had my name.

Had a guy just the other day tell me that he liked the name Forrest and had suggested to his g/f that they should name a kid that. She laughed at him :-{}

I was very offended. :rolleyes:

Must've made her think of Forrest Gump, I suppose. :rolleyes: Forrest sounds like a good name to me.

Better than having my first name, Bryan. LOTS of people with that one. One time, I worked for someone, one fall, during harvest, that was named Brian, and also had someone else there helping that was named Brian. Talk about confusing when trying to get the right one on the radio. :rolleyes:

My Grandfather to whom I was very close was named Forrest. He was a very careing and giving man. He bought me my truck, new, back in '92. Bought a cusin of mine a house (gave her our Great Grandma's home) and the list goes on. It's very odd to hear/see the name anywhere.

He most certainly has many gems in his crown, fo' sure!!

Man you want to talk about confessing names at work, you should be glade you don't work with me then. We got two Steve's, two Ronnie's, and two Mikes.

The only way to not get the wrong person is to ask for the big person you want or the little person, big Mike, little Mike, Big Steve, little Steve, Big Ronnie, little Ronnie.

Mike
