Ratings are the only published FACTS we have, end of story. As I have said before they are to industrial standards, not to made up numbers (like you have assigned to the Zinga filters). . If they are good enough for Bosh/Cummins they they are good enough for me, especially when I exceed their minimums.



I keep mentioning Zinga because that's who you are telling us is the setup that will STOP everything. . even if Zinga doesn't agree with you! It's what you are posting pictures of, and what you are incorrectly quoting their ratings. . It's also funny that now you don't believe ratings when you have posted that Zinga has the only good ratings (which as we know was a false statement) in older posts. They don't meet what you want them to so now that the truth is out about them you say to ignore them.



You do seem to care what filters I run as you keep showing how the Zinga (again you brought them into the topic) is better. . but as I keep saying Zinga doesn't even agree with you.



For a f/w sep they are impossible to beat, but they don't really have a dog in single pass the filtration hunt. .



You keep telling us how large your bank account is, so build a test stand. . Use an old OEM pump, 2 filter heads a few gallons of contaminated diesel and test away. Put "x" amount of fuel thru a set of filters you think the ratings are wrong on, and your then run your preferred set of filters. One pass, and see what comes out... heck I may even build it when I remove my OE LP in the next few years. . but not anytime soon.

I may switch to Racor or some other manufacture. Let's Do truck to Truck I don't need to build anything. I AM CALLING YOU OUT. THE ENTIRE SETUP ALREADY EXIST. I can tell whats Going to happen you are going to pump that trash right into your HPCR with Bosch Blessing I going to laugh and feel sad at the same time BC you ruined a Perfectly good Engine. I will Just replace My Auxiliary filter 2 or 3 times and go back to My vacation and back country riding.

The only filter you have posted specs for is the Zinga, then you talk about STOPING contaminates, so if the Zinga isn't the filter you recommend or are referring to as the one that STOPS contaminates which is it (been asked already, and ignored. . but hey not the only question you have ignored)? What setup do you recommend and why (maybe asking twice will get an answer, but like other questions I doubt it)?

I am advocating, and running, a filter that is 98. 7% at 3um (better than the Racor HPCR comment). You are ignoring them as the best your truck's setup get's on the first pass is 7um absolute from the factory filter.

If all you can do is call me out then your going to end up with a sore throat. The only filters in the entire thread that don't have the ratings to keep the garbage out of the CP3/Injectors are the ones on YOUR truck! Which you should be thankful your keep that 1% of fuel out of your truck, as it won't stand a change with the setup you run.

I have looked extensively at the Racor filters as they are some of the best f/w seps. I simply don't want a plastic bowl under my truck. I do believe they have metal bowls too, but didn't look into them. I may also run a water absorbing filter, but am not sure. The S3202 is the filter I would run, but Racor really want's it on the vacuum side and I don't have that option right now. I do have 2 f/w seps both rated above OEM spec, and 2 of of filters exceed OEM filtration spec, and 1 exceeds Bosch filtration spec and still provide plenty of fuel to the CP3. It's cleaner than it needs to be, and that's clean enough.

If all these filters you think are garbage then there wouldn't be a single HPCR still operational, even with only 1% of fuel being dirty. The OTR trucks run these filters and they live and die by their up time. There is no injector failure epidemic because of the garbage fuel filters. We see a higher rate because Dodge failed to meet the spec recommended by Bosch with their filters and because many people "upgraded" to the FASS/AD setup's which actually lowered overall filtration for years. It has been a rough time for people looking for good filtration for their HPCR Dodges. I am simply providing factual data on quality filters and all you to is talk trash and provide bogus specs. Why not support the filtration qwest? Provide some filters you have found work, with ratings to back them up. It's hard to recommend a product that the mfgr doesn't have as much confidence in as you do.

You say your added filter is why you have so many miles, but based on what those fitlers do it the 1% of fuel that you haven't been pumping into your truck. It's well documented that the factory 7um filter doesn't filter fine enough, and that's your best line of defense. The reason fuel needs single pass ratings is because fuel doesn't get contaminated half way thru a tank, it's right off the bat. The first time fuel goes thru the filter it's getting burned, so you need it clean to the 5um rating before it gets to the CP3. A filter that takes 2 or more passes to get down to 5um is virtually worthless if you get a contaminated tank.

Trat I didnt mean anything about the cut and paste I just had to come up with a name fast or I would have lost my train of thought. Will do Mike my Son is setting up a laptop for me at the Hosp so I can stay up on the fight seen. I plan on staying only long enough to WALK OUT but you know how the rehab goes it depends on when I can wipe my own butt and Im out. Ill have to get the wife a outfit like this and say something NASTY to her so she will KMA

Naaaaa... . I just posted the Pictures as I stated earlier I Would, The Pictures Really represented the facts In 2200+ Gallons the fuel was clean and need No additional filtering. I pulled the factory Can filter when I did the 6. 7 pump upgrade,I put it back in and will run it another year and re-check, unless I feel it needs to be re-investigated.

Thats 30000 miles driven on the fuel filter? Pretty impressive plus your supplier must keep it clean too!
