just installed ez

hi every one,just installed my ez tonight and all I can say isOo. terrific. Great throttle response between 40 to 70 mph just what I was looking for, boost went from 18-19 lbs of boost to 25-26 lbs of boost, still looking for a little more boost but I am very happy with the ez. Thanks for everyone's help in making this choice and thanks to piersdiesal for there help too

Don,next step injectors? My wife is beginnig to dislike this web site.

Yeah, i have a feeling there are a lot of wives who hate this site. Of course i just tell my wife the way it is and she is ok with it. Oh no got to go here she comes





Seriously, listen to the above advice, do not do more than an ez without doing work to the trans. I keep saying this, and i'll say it again i have seen an EZ and 275's smoke a trans in a hurry.

Ditto the above, the EZ alone can do a trany. in if your not carefull, I know from experence.

Man I'm lucky. My girlfriend wants me to get:



-Exhaust Brake

-DOR bumper

-DDIIs



She says I can do it all as long as when I buy her her truck, (Jordon I want your truck... ), hers is better.



My 5spd has had about 25k miles on it with an EZ and it is doing fine. Gas on it dude...

Would you have to beef up the trany if you had a manual, or does that just apply to the auto bubbas?

Everything I've read on this sez that if you go much beyond the EZ, auto or manual, you will have to beef up the transmission. Some have said that an EZ and DDII's on a 5 speed will hold, but others have had problems...

DDIIs + EZ will hold if you don't race every PHORD you see. I know if I go to DDIIs I'll have to get a new cluch sometime soon afterwards, but if I go easy on it, then it should last for a while. I'll probably have to look @ exhaust too as all I have is factory + geno's elimination kit.

manual==clutch upgrade at some point --depends how you drive



auto--your going to have upgrade sooner or later and probably sooner--again depends how you drive..... chris

The key word here is Girlfriend . Get back to us when the term is Wife , and let us know how you're doing then. :{

Fireman Dave- Well she won't be my wife till she graduated college in about 4-5 yrs so until then, BOMB away!



Actually I bet she lets me do all the mods I want after that, but who knows, I've never been married. My brother is getting married this weekend though so I'll ask him in a couple of months/weeks/days/hours?
