I just got done replacing my lift pump. I have 15psi at idle and wot between 9-10psi. My question is: when I bump the starter I no longer have any reading on the fuel pressure guage- before I always had around 9psi until the pump stopped running. I have larger banjo bolts and an electric autometer ultralite 15psi fuel gauge with a 128 micron snubber. I also packed the electrical connectors with electrical grease. Is it possible it might be air in the system. I have run the truck for about a 1/2 hour driving it hard and still have the same problem. It just seems a little strange. The truck only has about 36k but being a tech, i don't want to deal with warranties. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm just glad to have fuel pressure now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oo.

Where are you tapped? If you still have the schraeder valve you might try a manual gauge. Sounds like air in feed line to gauge. Try removing the snubber for awhile. Mike

Even with air in the line/gauge, you should still be seeing pressure. Ditto the getting a manual gauge and testing it that way.

Is you FP gauge mechanical or electrical? Either way, check all of your connections to your gauge.
