Just made a trip to New Orleans Area....

I just got back early this morning from a trip to southern new orleans. I do not have time to write to much now. But just wanted to mention that if anyone is planning on heading down there make sure you have the proper permits to do so or you will be turned around. I had a permit and a police escort. There are several check points with the first just north of HWY 310 on I-10. If anyone has any questions please post them I will answer as much as I can when I get the chance to.

What was your reason for going down there?

What was your reason for going down there. I drive the VA van here to Pittsburgh VA Hospital one day a week. I feel sure they will want help tues when they get back to normal. We'll see?
