Thanks, TDR Staff

My wife loves her new Excursion!

Who's got the Diesel Pick-up Market share??

Well ok, its been more than a month. My wedding was on September 10th and it has taken me a while to get this posted. I know a lot of people will enjoy this picture. The truck is a friend of mine since my wife would have nothing to do with my 11 yr old rusty dented loud 12v. But, she did get stuck in the 05. Now if I can just talk her into my proposed sledpulling budget for next year any help in that area is welcome. Thanks to all of the members and friends from the TDR otherwise a picture opportunity such as this never would have happened. Oo.

Congratulations there Bloomy... nice ride and nice bride :-laf i couldn't resist. . Oh but the 12v would have made for a better take off. . lots of smoke. . ground shaking, she don't know what she missed out on.

Congratulations Bloomy. On the new Bride and the new ride. Good luck w/ the sledpulling budget. My wife turns red every time I even talk to J. R. Adkins on the phone. :-laf

congrats. . . I've personaly got 16 days left of my batchelorhood before that gets stripped away. Then 11 days after that we close on our house. at one point I had to make the thought of possably selling my truck in order to make ends meet, but then SHE found a way so I can keep my big boy toy :D

she realy likes my truck and realy doesnt want me to be forced to sell it. the only thing is she has not driven it since she does not know how to drive a manual, but I can fix that ;)

See it all started when two weeks before the wedding was the Grange Fair Truck Pulls. I had been planning for the last two years to pull at this one. Her response was she didn't know I was going to pull and if I broke something she was ". . not going to haul my a## around!" My thoughts were I have been planning this for two years and the wedding has only been planned for 9 months?? :-{} Needless to say we went to the fair in separate rides and my family being so great continued to egg her on with he might only break this or that and are you going to take him home? After the first pull with no breakage she calmed down a little bit. Then before my second run my brother in law tells her that I am going to use a higher gear and breakage happens a little more often. Didn't break anything on the second one either and the night ended ok. If it wasn't for the wedding everything would have been fine. Now to talk her into the pulling budget that includes a new tow vehichle!!

Then at the reception and my best man's speech. He starts talking about my first love and it not being my wife and the amount of time and money I spent on this first love (brides parents devoutly catholic and stringent as can be were getting really nervous/irritated). Then proceeds to roll out a picture of her.

:{ I can't find the picture. I will post one when I find it!!

Congrats again and I'll see you on Sunday, hopefully your wife will smile when your truck goes on the dyno.

My fiance is the same way, she thinks my main priority is my truck, but she likes to ride in it so I guess she is ok with it.

Congratulations Buddy.

My wife has gotten a lot better about new toys on my truck. All I have to do is talk about a new one. All of a sudden a few hundred here and there doesn't sound so bad. A little at a time. Next mod will be a hybrid turbo.
