Just ordered a Frantz Fuel Filter . I hope

I hope I did the right thing. I am trying to achieve a longer life from stock injectors. I am going to keep the stock filter. From Ginos which element should I order for the stock filter. ( If there is more than one) I have always just bought the fleetguard.

I believe all of them are a 7 micron filter now... at one point, the Baldwin offering was reported to be a 5 micron filter.



If you are running the Frantz, your choice of OE filter doesn't really matter as the Frantz will catch anything the OE filter misses.

Does any one have a preference for the Cat set up over the Frantz set up?

The Frantz will obviously require a little more input, whereas the Ct is a simple spin-of and spin-on. The Frantz should filter better though.

Here is my dual CAT setup on post #7. https://www.turbodieselregister.com...ons-2003-2007/221916-2-micron-filtration.html CAT is a true 2 micron absolute. Even the beloved Fleetguard FF5320 is only a 5 micron.
