Just ordered gauges from Geno's Garage:

1 '03 - '05 Gauge Mount - IN-CONSOL $26. 95 $26. 95 GM-DG-15021

1 ISSPRO - 2" Exhaust Gas Temperatu $120. 00 $120. 00 ISS-R3807GR

1 ISSPRO - 2" Mechanical Boost Gaug $46. 00 $46. 00 ISS-R6823R

1 ISSPRO - 2" Transmission Temperat $62. 00 $62. 00 ISS-R6859R

Where can I find some tech articles or other information on the install of each? I will be installing these myself as I love to tinker around with cars and trucks.

Does anyone know what modifications are needed for the Gage Mount that is designed for the Autometer gauges?

As you can see I ordered the new ISSPRO gauges to match the trucks gauges and Geno's says that you have to modify the mount if not used with Autometer gauges. I am guessing it is the hold down tab on the two outer gauges that has to be modified.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Check issue 47 (current Feb/Mar/Apr 05)of TDR Magazine page 99, Idle Clatter by Jim Anderson, he explains how to install gauges. Very good article.

Thanks DJs600, I have not got the issue yet, I am awaiting it, it is good to know that help will be coming in the mail! :)

John3976,I ordered the same setup that you ordered for my 04 last week and should recieve them this week. I got my new issue of TDR mag. last week and it is a good article on installing gauges. They used the transmission dipstick for the temp but I think I will use the middle plug on the transmission for my temp. gauge. . Go to search articles and type in gauges and a lot of good instructions with photos are illustrated. Also I believe that the instructions for installition will come with the gauges. . Bill :{

Please post what you had to modify on the panel so the ISSPRO gauges would fit.

According to Geno's web page the in dash mount under the HVAC controls was designed for Autometer gauges and all other brands would require the installer to modify the panel.

I would like to know just what you had to do when you get the set up.

I'll post sometime next week when I install. It think that all you need is a dremel tool to brush down the sides but I'll post what ever I have to do. .
