Just ordered my '06 2500 megacab

Today i ordered a 2006 2500 megacab, let's see how long it takes to get here from Santillo

I ordered 9 weeks ago Yesterday, Its built and waiting for a ride. Your truck will go from Santillo to the Gulf of Mexico where it goes through customs, then they load it on a boat and float it to Baltimore. then they truck it to your dealer.



Did you go down and see Danny Boyce in Downingtown about the 3500 single rear wheel Mega he has in stock? (he is off tomorrow). Its not to late to cancel your order. Show your deal to Danny and tell him "beat it and I will buy one today". (If you paid dealer cost, they still have $1200 hold back to deal with) Buying one that is sitting on the lot is easier then this waiting, mine will be 12 weeks before I get it. They have a paint shop down in Frazer at there other dealership so they can match the cap.



I hear the 3500's ride better then the 2500's empty, then once the overload springs hit the bumpers it will carry like 1000 lbs more

I just drove one two days ago in San Jose, CA at Hartzeim.



Fully loaded charcoal 2500 Laramie 4x4 Megacab. Soooooo nice. I was about to ditch the upcoming mods and trade up.



$54k and change, plus a $2990 markup. No negotiating. :-laf



Needless to say I walked.

Why would one choose to order the 2500? Is it any cheaper?



As for a mark-up over sticker..... thats nuts, I bought mine just over invoice a few months ago.

I just wonder if some dealers have more stroke than others-------------I know it sounds weird but I ordered a 06 M/C on 10/28 and it took 6 weeks to take delivery if that long. I was expecting to wait like everyone else 9 weeks or more and was surprised I got that soon.



I will say the M/C is very nice and ride's very smoooooth

Bought my Mega back on October 3rd. Paid 36k+tax from Dave Smith. Didn't get every bell and whistle but the monthly payment managable.

DSM will most likely be getting my business when I buy. I wanted to drive both the G56 and the 48RE, and if I were to choose, I'd take the 48RE because of its hot-rod potential.



I thought I'd try to see where they'd go with price, and it appears no where. When I talked discounts, they started talking 5-star service...



Like that's worth $12,000.

Maybe some dealers are selling more Mega's. My dealer had six or seven that had been sitting for 30 days or better. Mine was the first one they sold. What does it matter if it is new, how about actual demand for the truck? After the employee pricing this past summer they tapped most of the customer base already. Discounts are in order, this isn't a Ferrari, its a truck.

After the employee pricing this past summer they tapped most of the customer base already. Discounts are in order, this isn't a Ferrari, its a truck.

My dealer said the deals now are actualy better then the employee pricing was since you can pay Dealer cost (or less) plus keep the rebates
