Well, the 'ol ticker rolled through 100k on my way to work today. On the one hand, I wish it didn't have so many miles because I haven't owned a vehicle past about 50k before trading or selling it. But then, it sure has been nice to take comfort in the fact the engine has a long way to go! :D

Thanks to RamminOn, I know the KDP won't get me!

Way to go!!! My '95 has 171K on it now and is running better than ever. What's a warranty? I think I heard about them once.

Keep on truckin' It will just get better all the time.

46mech, I know what you mean. I have a 95 also. I ready to turn over 189000 miles on mine. This is the most I've ever had on a vehicle. Good luck with the next 100k. Jeff

I'm not near you guys

but this reminds me of what I have heard my dad and relatives talk about with cars. It used to be that it wasn't uncommon for people to own a vehicle up to and well past 100K miles. Now we trade them in every 2 or 3 years when they start having even minor problems. I think that is the reason why we see cheap parts and/or workmanship in our trucks. It's nice to know that I'll probably see 300-400K or more miles on this truck. I'm looking forward to it and you guys with high mileage are proof that things get better with age. I've got almost 58K on my truck and it feels like it's just starting to wake up. BOMBing has helped :D but those have been in the past 3000 miles. The truck started feeling like it came awake between 45-50K miles. The BOMB's just made it sweeter.

Diesel on Rammers!!!

The most miles I have ever put on a vehicle is 250,000.

It was an 1984 Honda Civic CRX. Never even had to do a valve job. Was an excellent little car.

Drawson is right. I had 110,000 on my 92 when I sold it, and it ran as good as ever. I just wanted an extended cab and the six speed. At 38000 miles, I hope my 99 runs as well when I pass 110,000!
