Just switched to WVO!

Hey, I just converted to WVO and love it. I used fattywagon.com , check them out! So nice to start up on diesel, and when things are nice and warmed up, I hit the 30 gallon wvo switch and voila, instant power! My neighbor and I filter about 70 gallons a week of really nice clean fry oil and have accrued about 500 gallons so far . . . fuel cost? What's that? So glad I bought this truck!

Tell us about your truck, year 12/24v. I am interested in doing the conversion. Did you have to use a seperate tank (in bed)? I want to use my existing tank for veggie. and install a small aux tank for startup/shutdown. Did you install the system yourself?

Can you "override" the fuel heat system in case you have to run dino diesel?

My truck is a '91 4X4, 12 volt. System is two tank, we added a aux 10 gal tank for diesel and used 30 gallon tank for wvo. Check out the fattywagon site. I had a gentleman named Rich do the install. He has a shop next to fattywagon. Yes, when I switch to dino, power to IP line heaters cuts off. So far so good . . I will try to take a few pics and post so you can see the clean installation.
