Just tried Smarty for the first time

well got tired of having too run smarty on level 1 only orderd my south bend dd 3250 the other day. any one know a rep shop in the san diego aera to do the install. id like to do it my self but lack a trans jack.

The best box for pressure may be the EZ,



With the same electronics, HO/SO are = as far as HP. The only reason the SO has larger gains, is because it started lower to begin with.



As far as 03/04 SO/HO only making 130 vs 170/230 by 04. 5+, mostly has to do with the stock turbos, 03/04's could not produce enough air to burn all the fuel Smarty was providing, upgrade the turbo and they are equal.

I do like My TST, IF it had ,TM,TQ, it would be a contender.

If you look at my sig I am not running a stock turbo... I have the Super B Special which is a 62 and I am running the Smarty on level 2 cause the Torque mgt is a nice feature but to pay 685. 00 for a measely 30 hp gain and the tq mgt does not go over well with me, on level 9 all I got was smoke and maybe the 130hp gain the Smarty claims. If the smoke was not so bad I would run it.

With my constant camper load,initially I too would smoke out an intersection on sw#1 with Smarty. Since using the Revolution update,w/rp#1,default everything else,smoke is minimal. I almost sold my Smarty. Pretty happy camper now though.
