Just Wanted To Introduce Myself

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Is it normal to sound like that?

Just wanted to drop by and say hello. I see I am the newest member for the time being. I have owned my 92' D-350 for right at a year and have loved every minute of it. I am constantly messing with the truck adding little things here and there. The only drawback to the truck is it is a automatic. But hey, it's a Dodge and more importantly it has a Cummins. Feel free to drop me a line anytime I enjoy the hobby of collecting and restoring antique tractors and farm equiment. Bill

Hi Bill,

Welcome aboard, lots of good people on the site :) to help you with bombing or what have you.

As far as boost #'s it depends on alot of things like exhaust housing size, diaphram settings, timing, etc. But it sounds like you are just alittle up from stock.

Good luck trying to keeep it there. :D

Welcome

Welcome Farmall

I hope you get as much info and enjoyment out of this forum as I have. You cant beat the friendly replys to your question and the expertise that is available on this site.

Your friend Dave Gardner. :)

Howdy Farmall, and WELCOME... to your new home. . ;)

Good to have another 1st Gen on the site. If any of us can be of help, just say the word.

Since our trucks have some time on the road, alot of things have been ironed out and most of the answers are here for the asking.

As for your truck being an auto... works for me !!!!! Since I don't have to spend my time "rowing thru life" I get more time to snooze... . no wait. . monitor instruments, ya thats it. .

Welcome, Bill!

I prefer a manual trans also, and was lucky to find one in my truck. Seems that most of the CTD trucks for sale are autos. Just a matter of preference I guess.

My pop is (was?) into old tractors as well. A new marriage seems to have him distracted. :D I think he may be wanting to sell one or two... He has a nice '39 International B that he fully restored, and a 30's JD B. I'm not sure what else he still has tucked away. He sold an M diesel on duals a while back that I would have liked to have, but it needed the works:(

Anyway, good to have another first gen owner aboard. :D

Welcome Farmall,

I drive a 1992 Cummins, and at least during the summer use a 1948 Cultivision A to drag a harrow on my riding arena, spread manure off the pto, and pull an old studebaker trailer around the place for fences, landscaping, etc.

I load that red tractor with a green one though! The green one is at least a diesel (2030 JD).

good to have another first gen here,

jon

Welcome

Hi Farmall,

A Hoosier, 1st gen owner that likes antique tractors, man it just doesn't get any better than that :D I happen to like the old cases and still farm with them. I have four of them. You will learn a lot around here. Just watch out for those crazy Canadians (esp BushWakr and NascarMark) and their port-a-pots. You will have to read some other threads to figure this one out. Glad to have you aboard.

Hi farmall,

Welcome! This is a great place for information and advice. Use the Search function and you will find a lot of topics previously discussed. Remember there is no such thing as a stupid question-except the one that you didn't ask.

Cheers,

Al

Welcome Farmall!

I've got a 1951 Farmall H I put a new motor in a few years ago. Should last another 50 years!:D I use it to bush-hog and I've got a Du-All front end loader on it. It is really still just a rusty old working tractor, but with a new engine!

Don't count your automatic out yet! There are a couple of GREAT Auto Trans Builders associated with this site. ATS comes to mind for me. DTT is another.

When it is time to get a re-build, go with either of these companies (You're closer to ATS) and you can't go wrong.
