No, this is not a political comment.
The Ronald Mcdonald House up in Vancouver BC is evicting a 4 year old boy and his family who has been being treated there for leukemia since october. His crime ? He hasn't had a covid shot. Just what kind of monster would even think about let alone make the decision to evict that small boy for that.
I used to give money to the Ronald McD house every once in a while. But now I am on strike.
 
Kind of like the same ones who won't let your kids come to school unless you have your vaccinations. An outbreak of COVID could be devastating to all because of compromised immune systems. I have empathy for the boy and his family and pray for them to find a way ahead.

They did not tell him and his family they were being evicted. They sent a letter to all families, that anyone five years old and older needed to be vaccinated. Those who aren't will not be "evicted" - they are being given outside accommodations, and all costs are covered.

Omitting facts about a vaccine policy to stir up outrage smacks of an agenda.

Appreciate the response with the link. Wow, in a an already highly sterile and segregated hospital, they chose to boot children who are battling for their lives into a sub-standard and non sterile environment. Welp at least it's paid for......Gawd I don't know how some people can sleep at night.
 
You must be reading different articles from those I linked, because that's not what they said and that's not what Ronald McDonald Houses do.

The Ronald McDonald's House is not a health care treatment center or medical facility, and their function isn't to provide a medically sterile environment. It houses families while their children get treatment at a medical facility who provide the sterile environment for their kids. Or in the case where the children can get outpatient treatment without needing to stay in the sterile hospital environment, they also stay there with their parents at the RMH.

No one is being denied healthcare by them - the hospitals the kids are staying at (or visiting if it's out-patient treatment) are still serving them. They are putting non-vaccinated families in alternate housing.
 
This thread is a classic example of the primary problem in our country today.... I was driving to work this am later since I had to take my son to school so I was in traffic, looking around, I was thinking to myself.. we are about one generation away from living a full blown real life version of the movie IDIOCRACY....!!... These darn kids cant drive, cant stay in their lanes, cant figure out what the blue light lit on the dash is... sit through green lights on their phones... If this is the Tic Tok generations... lets ponder what other more useless thing will come along... first Face book... then U tube.. now tic tok... its a race to the bottom (mohr's law applied to stupidity)... They don't want to work, all they want to do is bury themselves in the electronics, My son would spend all day EVERY DAY on the TV, Netflix or his video game if I let him... anyway..

Back to the point, if the loudest most outspoken voice gets listened to.. its TRUTH. nobody fact checks anymore.. just blind "it must be true mentality since it comes from the trusted source radio, tv, forum of choice.. Which usually aligns with one's own personal beliefs..

JM2C... I've looked at all of them and the spin and lies are just mindblowing

I had no clue what this was in reference too, so google it was.

Who knew there even was such a thing, let alone what it does. We are doomed.


Post in general....

I liked this post so much I tossed them $500 bucks today. They have helped out my direct family members in Philly when my nephew was at CHOP, it a great resource and cost them nothing. I've given to them since 2014 and still will continue as I am able too.

It's their building and their say who stays there they are a private deal, even if they get any support in the way if Grants from any sort of government programs which I'm sure they get lots of stuff like that.

There are 4 of us in our household only one is vaccinated and boosted. No fights about it, does not even come up in conversation.

It's a shame it tears people apart they way it has gone down. Hopefully we will look back and laugh one day at the crazy on all fronts.

TDR is (for now) as social media as I get, so I am not defending the fantasy landers one bit. But 50 short years ago it was weed, ecstasy, and cocaine fueled sex the youth was buried in.

Not sure which is worse...pick your poison. Hopefully at least some of each generation grows up enough to carry the torch.
