First post!

Anyways, when I bought my truck the guy had a new K&N Air Charger that he was going to install but never got around to it. I've read online about the K&N uses Oil and these are bad, but some people think they are ok. Any thoughts on the K&N Air Charger as most people talk about the drop in filters.

I run AFE dry on the Cummins, but I do have K&N's on all my quads and I do not oil them, dry with outerwear only.

Is this what you are talking about?

Edit: I posted a link but its not the correct thing. Not sure where to find a outerwear for the filter. Any links or ideas?

Before you install the K&N charger, review the article in TDR #59 about the real world performance of these systems. To cut to the chase, it appears these only produce more power on a dyno, not in the real world. I have a FiPack on a '98 Grand Cherokee, not sure I would do it again.
