K&N Air Filters

What does D/C say about the use of K&N airfilters? I sure can tell the diff after I removed mine. My engine does not have that little kick when I put my foot in it. As the RPMs come on.

Dodge offers the K&N in it's optional parts catalog and most dealer parts depts stock them,so I'm assuming that they OKed it's use. My dealer recomended the K&N so I bought mine new with the truck.
