K&N Filter Install

Will I notice an increase in turbo whistle after i install a K&N air filter. I know you will with a stock truck and silencer ring MIA, but i'm not sure about mine. Just curious. Thanks.

Yes~!! You will notice a big difference. Every time I clean my K&N and put the stock filter back in its much quieter and it sound like its starving for air. The K&N let alot more air flow, and IMO is much better.

It is MUCH louder, but it sounds good, i have noo complaints. The truck really accelerates faster.

Sometimes the whistle is a little much for passengers, they say it sounds like a screamin' monkey is under the hood... ... TOO BAD FOR THEM
